Poppy Dixon is Sky UK’s Director of Documentaries and Factual, where she is responsible for all original commissioning for Sky Documentaries, Sky Nature and Sky Crime. Since the launch of the factual channels in 2020, Sky has forged a path as a destination for premium narrative driven box-set series, feature documentaries and bold natural history programming, winning multiple awards including three BAFTAs. Key successes so far include The Essex Murders, Tina, Ghislaine Maxwell: Epstein’s Shadow, Chernobyl: The Lost Tapes, Libby, Are You Home Yet?, Lockerbie and David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived.
Before moving into commissioning, Poppy produced and developed documentaries, with key titles including Misha and the Wolves, The Imposter, Untouchable, American Animals and Three Identical Strangers.
