With a background at industry-leading organizations such as A24, AMC Networks, SXSW Film Festival, and the Sundance Institute, she has honed her skills in driving impactful initiatives and fostering community engagement.
Motivated by a desire to effect meaningful change, Rebecca founded Empowered Stories, a consulting practice dedicated to supporting socially impactful projects led by marginalized communities. Her passion for mental health led her to pursue a master’s degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in psychological trauma, enriching her ability to approach challenges from diverse perspectives.
As a proud first-generation Latina graduate, Rebecca is committed to promoting mental health literacy and access within BIPOC and creative communities, aiming to reduce stigma across generations and cultures.
